Abeer (Bero) is multi-disciplinary Graphic Designer based between Iraq and wherever creativity takes me.
I’m that person who can’t stick to just one thing ,I thrive on variety, experimentation& the joy of bringing ideas to life. I’m deeply community oriented, with a great sense of humor & balance being extremely self-driven with being extremely silly.
I believe in design with intention, feelings translated into visual statements. In the power of communication, action, research, are.na stuff, late-night brainstorming, [grid], good paper, and teamwork. In making zines when I’m sad, building workflows, writing lists, and difficult readings in posters. In processes, trial and error, making mistakes and learning from them. I believe in devotion, trying new things, and the power of self-expression. In women power, listening to others, laughing with friends, philosophy, music, and podcasts. I believe in vulnerability as resistance, intuition, and self-development. I believe in cat energy (hello, Candi), in being kind no matter what and I believe in design.
